Leroy Brown founded Concrete By Design in 2006 after discovering a passion for decorative concrete that combined craftsmanship with creativity. A graduate of the Culinary Institute of America, Leroy first built his career in the culinary arts, where he developed an eye for detail, composition, and precision. These skills later translated naturally into decorative concrete work.

After connecting with others in the industry and immersing himself in learning the craft, Leroy spent a year studying techniques, earning certifications, training at the Decorative Concrete Institute, and practicing on porches, patios, pool decks, and garages before launching his company. Today, Concrete By Design is a local, family-owned, minority-owned business based in Sharpsburg, Georgia.
